Complications in the Treatment of Mandibular Condylar Fracture, Surgical Versus Non-Surgical Treatment

Background: The facial fractures include Condylar are most common in mandibular fractures, which have the highest fracture incidence after nasal bone fractures. Three different traumatic forces can result condylar injury: first is energy imparted to a static person by moving object, such as blow face from cricket bat; second striking child falling and ground; third combination of two forces, when an automobile hit automobile. This kind force typically has biggest impact causes severe injury patterns. Objective: To compare frequency Complications procedures for treatment surgical versus conservative treatment. Methodology: Randomized control trial was held Tertiary Care Hospital Karachi 6 months 12 Jul, 2019 Jan, 2020. ERC were taken before data collection. Patients suffering fulfilling exclusion inclusion criteria who ready give informed consent explaining study protocol, risk benefit ratio usage research included our study. group labelled "A" treated closed reduction immobilization "B" undergone internal fixation open reduction. Results: mean age standard deviation 72 patients determined be 40.85 ± 12.93 years, respectively, with 18 years minimum 65 being maximum. Unilateral Side 40/72 (55.6%) Bilateral 32/72 (44.4%) 3) Conclusions: In conclusion, had clinically satisfactory results, although produced more accurate reduce complications.
